The issue is there are so many good spots. Without spending a few months paddling around and exploring the Florida Keys, you’ll struggle to find the secret spots. You won’t know where to go.

Bahia Honda State Park

Bahia Honda offers gentle waterways, calm tides, stunningly blue water, abundant wildlife, and so much more. You could spend days exploring the area, island, and more. The location truly is a paddleboard enthusiasts dream come true.

You currently cannot rent paddleboards here, only kayaks. If you want to paddle here, bring your board or rent from a neighboring location in the Keys.

Stock Island

If first-class living is key to your paddleboard experience, then you’ll find no finer experience than Stock Island in the Florida Keys. Featuring luxury around every turn, the area is also idea for paddleboard exploring.

With crystal clear waters and mangroves filled with wildlife, you could spend hours upon hours paddling around the area. The sites are truly world-class and the experience will be one you won’t forget.

Islamorada

If you’re looking for a fantastic place to paddle, then make sure to check out Islamorada and the neighboring Indian Key Historic State Park. The location offers any and everything a paddler could want in the Keys.

Here you’ll find crystal clear waters allow you to see an old wrecking colony, baby sharks, and so much more. The mangroves here are filled with wildlife, including alligators and more. It’s a fascinating place.

Fort Taylor

At the bottom of Key West lays Fort Taylor, an absolutely ideal place to enjoy some paddleboard exploring. The state park offers one of the best beaches to launch your paddleboard and cruise around.

Sugarloaf Key
